Stéphanie Larocque, 18 At five feet seven inches, Larocque is the shortest model on the Project Runway Canada catwalk, but her height hasn’t stopped her. The Buckingham, Que., native has appeared in print ads for Bonne Belle and Jacob Jr. and in fashion editorials for CosmoGIRL! and Seventeen. Dream designer: “Sunny Fong!” |

Ashley Fortin, 24 Ottawa-born Fortin dreams of modelling for Victoria’s Secret, but in the meantime the 24-year-old University of Ottawa sociology student has shot a Fila campaign in Hong Kong. Dream designer: “Versace.” |

Cathy Crowe, 19 From life in little L.A. (Lethbridge, Alta.) to the streets of Paris, Crowe can’t believe how far she has come. During Paris Fashion Week last fall, she walked the runway for Lutz and Catherine Malandrino. Dream designer: “DSquared2.” |

Jasmine Brison, 23 Born and raised in Tracadie-Sheila, N.B., Brison is a small-town girl with big-city ambitions. Her first modelling contract took her to Milan and Athens. She recently moved to Toronto and is waiting for her big break. Dream designer: “Stella McCartney.” |

Alix Pasquet, 19 Moncton, N.B., native Pasquet developed a taste for the runway life while modelling for PRC. Now she plans on juggling a modelling career with her communications studies at the University of Ottawa. Dream designer: “Valentino.” |

Alissa Pritchard, 22 When Pritchard was growing up in Portland, Ont., everyone knew her name. “My town was made up of just 600 people. It was like one big family – I loved it!” Before PRC, the travel and tourism grad travelled to South Korea for modelling gigs. Dream designer: “Diane von Furstenberg.” |

Gabrielle Madé, 21 Raised in Gatineau, Que., Madé is a versatile model. Between assignments she attends the Université du Québec à Montréal, where she is studying communications. She has catwalked for Montreal Fashion Week, and at the city’s chocolate show, Salon Passion Chocolat & Cie, she got to wear a kimono made out of chocolate! Dream designer: “Miss Sixty.” |

> Elise Marie Critoph, 24 Critoph was scouted at an Edmonton hotel back in 2004. The Calgary-born model grew up in South Porcupine, Ont., and Ottawa but moved to Montreal to study economics at Concordia University. Her goal? To be her dream designer’s fashion muse. Dream designer: “Rei Kawakubo.” |

Ramata Koungenetia Coulibaly, 22 Coulibaly was discovered in an Ottawa mall, but she’s originally from the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire. She recently travelled to New York, Milan and London for work. Dream designer: “Karl Lagerfeld.” |

Lauren Tansley, 21 It’s Tansley’s second season on the PRC runway. Since her debut last year, Tansley was featured in a music video for James Blunt’s “Same Mistake.” When she’s not modelling, she’s hitting the books and completing her humanities degree at Carleton University in Ottawa. Dream designer: “Pink Tartan.” |

Victoria “Tori” Leach, 25 Leach has worked the DSquared2 show in Milan twice and worked on the Sony Bravia campaign. The Stittsville, Ont., model has also posed for Cosmopolitan and Maxim. Dream designers: “Alexander McQueen and DSquared2.” |

Alyson Lozoff, 23 Lozoff, a former Miss Teen Canada, takes beauty and brains to a new level. The Montreal lawyer has modelled for the Joshua Perets campaign and has recently passed her Quebec bar exam. Dream designer: “Vera Wang.” |
