NYFW Spring 2014: Chatting with Tory Burch, plus the scene backstage after her show
Following the Tory Burch show, I made it backstage to speak with the designer about her Spring/Summer 2014 collection. "We did prints inspired by my organic garden," she said. "I’m actually wearing a piece from the collection."

"It was all inspired by Romy Schneider in La Piscine, with a huge garden element," Burch told me. "The print I’m wearing is a Queen Ann’s lace print that I took out of my garden. We mixed digital prints, and block prints, and even blueprints, if you can believe it!"

"It was about shorter lengths, and the ’60’s silhouette," Burch explains. "It was supposed to be very clean, and the colour palette was overwhelmingly green, white and coral."
