NYFW Fall 2015: 5 things you need to know from Day 1

Meanwhile in New York, the fashion set have descended one final time on the Lincoln Center for
Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week 2015. Here’s a few things we learned from day one of all the fall fashion madness. 1. Our "amazeballs" (his choice qualifier) NYFW videographer Evaan Kheraj can’t resist a good street style snap. "It’s like visual crack to me," he says. 2. Poor little North West had to suffer through the runway show of her pops’ Adidas Originals x Kanye West Yeezy Boost shoe collection, and wasn’t having any of it. Her ruffled seatmate, a one Anna Wintour, was not impressed with the toddler’s fashion week behaviour, and not so subtly recoiled in her seat.

3. BCBGMAXAZRIA opened the week of shows for us with a boho-inspired collection featuring fringe and fur booties that we may actually die for come fall. Observe, swoon.

If we do our math correctly, we’ll significantly increase our caffeine-to-blood ratio by next Thursday. 5. So far, we’ve determined that fashion week is a better experience in the winter, because you can wear flat boots and not feel bad about your pain-free life decisions. #Winning.
