In a fashion world where there’s
constant gender-bending roles it’s always nice to get your feminine fix with beautifully fitted, lacey, beaded pieces. Monique Lhuillier’s fall 2014 collection at
New York Fashion Week gave me my
lady-like fix by pairing her signature femininity with what she called “architectural details,” mixing brushed gold on lace, black spidery lace, leather and hits of bold, bright fuchsia dotted in florals, tied together with patent leather belts.
