MFW Fall 2014: Meet model Anna Ewers, the bombshell taking the fashion world by storm

This is the season of Anna Ewers. The Brigitte Bardot lookalike first attracted attention last year, when she opened the
Spring 2014 Alexander Wang show, and she’s the reigning model to watch of the Fall 2014 season. The German bombshell has been EVERYWHERE in Milan, hitting all the top-tier catwalks: Emilio Pucci, Roberto Cavalli, Dolce & Gabbana, Bottega Veneta, Versace… Take a look.
Anna looking ’70s chic at Roberto Cavalli, where the catwalk was surrounded by a literal ring of fire. By the time the show was over, it was SO hot in the tent that editors were fanning themselves with show notes and excitedly claiming that they almost fainted.
Anna looking like a woodland maiden at
Dolce & Gabbana. The show opened with a huge, overgrown tree slowly emerging from the floor, underlit with purple mist and eliciting a loud "OOOH" from the crowd. The applause at the end of the show was the most enthusiastic of the season so far.
Anna, all modern ladylike at Bottega Veneta, one of the standout shows of Fall 2014.
Anna opened the Versace show in a bias-cut black dress…
…then closed the show as Versace’s catwalk bride, on a runway lined with olive trees. Interestingly, that virginal Versace look is a far cry from Anna’s rather NSFW Spring 2014 Alexander Wang campaign.
#Yowza. Guess that means the girl’s got range.
