Louis Vuitton Launches Its First Ready-To-Wear Pop-Up in Canada
It features a spatial installation within SSENSE Montréal.
Louis Vuitton is teaming up with SSENSE to open its first-ever Canadian pop-up featuring it’s ready-to-wear collection.
From August 30 to September 29, SSENSE Montréal will host an exclusive space featuring the fall-winter 2019 collection, including ready-to-wear, accessories and leather goods. The futuristic space, which sits within a large-scale installation, is inspired by the ’70s structural expressionism architectural movement which incorporated elements of the early tech industry.
Details of the pop-up include exposed pipes on the exterior and interior of the building to mimic the tangle of server wires, neon lighting that replicate the glow of a computer and a network of CCTVs, glitching screens and mirrors that allude to the idea of surveillance.
