After Kanye West’s Air Yeezy 2 "Red October" sneakers sold out (in 11 minutes!) over the weekend, they began popping up on eBay, causing a bidding frenzy. By yesterday afternoon, one pair of the shoes (which originally retailed for $245) had amassed 84 bids–reaching the astronomical price of 10 million pounds, (or 16.4 million dollars.) That particular listing has since been removed from the site, but currently pairs are going for anywhere from $2,000 to $12,300.
