I’m not a sports fan, and have always regarded the Olympics with a bit of hostility. (It interrupts all the good TV!
Scandal,
Grey’s Anatomy and
Nashville aren’t back until the last week of February.) But, the one thing I always manage to watch is the Olympics opening ceremony: Mostly, because it’s like a giant fashion show. There’s the poor U.S. team,
who has to march around in these…uh…interesting pieces, while the Canadians look understated yet stylish in comparison in uniforms created by Hudson’s Bay. I picture the Olympics opening ceremony as the sporting equivalent of the Golden Globes’ red carpet. Which begs the question: Which country will be wearing
Pharrell’s hat?
