What better time to tell someone how you truly feel about them than on their birthday? So today we celebrate you, Kate Moss, for bestowing us with
40 years of awesomeness to recap, admire and try to imitate in our own version of heroin chic style (seriously, what’s your secret to
finding the perfect red lip shade, smudged just so?). Well we have a secret for you, too: you may just be our fave
‘90s-era supe. We couldn’t have been happier for your
marriage to guitarist Jamie Hince (we hear he’s buying you an apartment in France?
Très bien!) and your wedding is the dreamstuff that we fall asleep thinking about. But, if you don’t mind, we can’t help but look back on
your time together with Johnny Depp as kind of a romantic glory era. We know he may possibly be engaged to Amber Heard, but you were still our number one on his arm. So here’s to you, Kate! To great style, to celebrating milestones (even when they aren’t your own, like
your Playboy cover for the mag’s 60th anniversary), and many more years of inadvertently showing us all how to be cool. (And even blessing us with
