Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Iryna Shayk, Gigi & Zayn (the whole ‘family,’ as designer Riccardo Tisci refers to them) attended the Givenchy show last night. Guests were seated outdoors on a cold night and all got a space blanket to keep warm – quite a sight. It seemed almost planned, as the silver blankets reflected onto the shiny runway and models faces making it all even more magical.

Who needs shoes when you can have spandex pant-boots? Balenciaga eliminated the eternal search of  ‘the right shoes for the outfit’ by offering several colour options of spandex pant-boots. As odd as it may sound, the result is a cleaner line and longer legs. Yes you heard it right, longer legs. So who’s with me?

Céline showed looks worn with mismatched shoes in different colours. In theory, the idea sounds wrong, but the result was quite chic when paired with a simple solid dress and sheer tights.

Valentino’s lineup was a beautiful parade of reds and pinks, and the first solo collection for designer Pierpaolo Piccioli (his longtime design partner at the house, Maria Grazia Chiuri, moved on to Dior this season.) The micro bags, worn cross body, were tonal to the looks and added a youthful touch to the classic and romantic collection.

At Loewe, an art film played on large TV screens around the runway. The video featured a man pushing royal blue barrels around the ocean water to a beach. The sound of the waves played loudly during the show, and brought an electricity to the collection that made the clothes feel completely alive.
