6 looks we loved from Day 7 at PFW
The whole world of fashion was there to witness the tribute to Sonia Rykiel, complete with an explosion of silver paillettes after a lineup of models wearing sweaters that spelled out “Rykiel Forever” walked down the runway. It was a beautiful moment.
A sweet floral off the should maxi dress worn with a studded leather corset bra was the perfect mix of romance and hard edge and defined this season’s top two trends.
Yellow has been strong on the runways since New York, but when this sheer yellow tank dress walked past me at the show, I realized it really is the colour of the season.
As a designer who is always making a statement against fur and leather, McCartney’s closing looks were desirable reworked T-shirts that this time clearly stated “No Leather.”
Only fashion’s elite attended this show, and after a masterful display of Esteban’s ability to design lust-worthy pieces like these, the entire room clapped, screamed and cheered for the designer as he took his final bow. Expect to see (and hear!) much more from this young designer.
The ‘Hi, how are you’ print on this T-shirt worn over a gorgeous shirtdress was one of my favourite moments from the show, but the entire collection was as cool as it gets.
