Today’s
final sartorial dare–the Style Trekker–comes as a prophetic challenge: how far outside of my comfort zone am I
really ready to go? Let’s find out…
The Style Trekker: When I think about it, I consider this my signature look anyway: casual and nonchalant, with worldly aspirations. And add in an unapologetic tomboy edge, of course (see above). For today’s outfit challenge, this translated into a white shirt, chunky knit cardi, ripped boyfriend jeans, moto boots and a Roots beanie. Just stick me in an art café or wherever the hipsters congregate, and you wouldn’t even recognize me. But the end of these past three days, I realized that it was fun to channel glamazons and warriors—in my own way, of course. But I think I’ll stick with my oversized knits and boyfriend silhouettes.
Verdict: The next time I’m dared to shake up my personal style, I’ll happily choose truth instead. #overit
