How are you? Also, what are you thinking?
I’ve got to say I’m more than a little dumbfounded by your decision to change Yves Saint Laurent’s iconic brand to Saint Laurent Paris. In fact, it feels like I’ve just been kicked in the junk by a Tribute heel.
Sure, that was the name in the 1966. But do you know what else was a good idea in 1966? Doing LSD.
Sometimes change is good.
Now, I’m sure you have a good reason. You’re an interesting and smart human being. But perhaps you’re taking that old vowel jingle a little too close to heart. In this case, it’s not “and sometimes Y.”
When it comes to Yves Saint Laurent, it’s always Y.
Think about it!
P.S If you’re so sweet on bigging up Paris, why aren’t you designing from there? Don’t pretend that designing from your home base in L.A is anything but madness. Or wait, are we just calling the city “A” now?
