Tiffany & Co. Celebrates Their New Lock Collection in Toronto With Hailey Bieber

The jewellery brand celebrated the launch of their new collection in the heart of Toronto's Fashion District.

The pieces in the Lock collection references the padlock, which holds an important place in the history of the jeweller. It’s an archival motif that dates back to the late 1800s when Tiffany & Co. first offered functional padlocks to its customers.

Embedded in the DNA of the House, the motif has been regularly reinvented over the past 20 years with several jewellery pieces that have become cult classics.

The bracelets, rings and earrings in the new Lock collection embody the latest and most contemporary interpretation of this symbol with a closure that clicks like a real padlock.

Hailey Bieber, Simu Liu, Imaan Hammam, Kate Bock, Reign Judge and many other stars were at the event, held at Véla in Toronto last night for this exclusive evening. All of them wore pieces from the Tiffany & Co. Lock collection, including the new rose gold models.

We had to chance to chat with Bieber, one of the muses of the jewellery brand, answered some of our questions:

How did you and Tiffany & Co. start working together?

“I wore their jewelry a bunch of times before, and I just sort of got to know the team and I think the partnership became very natural and it just progressed very naturally.”

What does this partnership mean to you?

“I feel honoured to be working with such an iconic brand—When you think of Tiffany’s you think about how iconic they’ve been for such a long time. So… I love it.”

What is your favorite piece of the Lock collection?

“I love the Lock bracelets. The ring are cool too!”
