When Beyoncé took the stage at Coachella earlier this year, her custom Balmain stage costumes became instantly iconic. Now, a capsule collection of looks is finally here.
Inspired by the styles and legacy of the 37 historically Black colleges and universities in the U.S., the collection features hoodies (like the one Beyoncé donned on stage) and t-shirts with eye-catching sorority graphics in yellow, pink and black.
Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing gave a nod to the marching band uniforms and Greek life styles of the schools with his designs.
Proceeds from the collection will go to the United Negro College Fund, an organization that helps African American students attend college through scholarships, financial support for schools and advocacy for minority education.
