Rihanna is revolutionizing baby bump couture—a quick glimpse at her latest outings will tell you that loud and clear.
In late February, Rihanna made a surprise appearance at Milan Fashion Week where she attended the Gucci fashion show.
Sitting front row with her partner and baby daddy, A$AP Rocky, RiRi looked heavenly in a lace and PVC crop top with her bump on full show. She paired it with low-rise flared trousers and a chainmail headdress, just to really solidify the fact she’s an actual queen.
Later on, she switched to a black fitted mini cut-out dress with a bright purple faux-fur coat. She can really do no wrong.
But it seemed her maternity fashion world tour didn’t stop there. Instead, Rihanna took her enviably stylish baby bump to Paris Fashion Week, as one does.
Kicking off the start of PFW, Rihanna turned up to the Off-White show in a peach mini dress and shearling coat from Diesel. The coat was a highly sought after item from the labels Fall/Winter 2022 collection, which made it’s runway debut mere days ago at Milan Fashion Week. Oh the power she holds.
Hours after her stint at Off-White, Rihanna turned up to Dior and made the fashion statement wearing a black sheer dress, patent knee-high boots and matching black trench. Please excuse us while we pick our jaws up from the floor.
In March, Riri continued her fashion streak by attending a Fenty Beauty event in LA wearing a silver crop top and glimmering silver skirt.
Across her exposed bump was a sparkling silver chain, which she matched with a silver earring stack.
The mom-to-be also explained how getting dressed up could transform her entire mood.
“Right now, being pregnant, some days you just feel like, ‘Ugh, I just want to lay here on this couch all day.’ But when you put on a little face and a little lipstick, you transform.”
“You put some clothes on, and it’s like, when you look good, you feel good,” Rihanna continued. “I’ve heard that for a very long time, but it’s true. It really can get you up off that couch and make you feel like a bad bitch.”
The OG Bad Gal announced her pregnancy to the world last month in a bright pink vintage Chanel jacket from 1996, which was unbuttoned from the top of her stomach.
In the series of images, she walked the streets of New York City with A$AP, the pair looked loved up as ever.
In the weeks since, Rihanna has been pictured in several other fits which have celebrated the empowerment that comes from being a mother.
There was the trucker hat, fur coat and a tie-front crop top that screamed Y2K glory while she visited an Italian restaurant in early February.
And shortly before that, she stepped out in an all-black ensemble featuring a cross body top which exposed her stomach. She paired it with dark sunglasses and dripped in gold jewels. Stunning scenes.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight about the pregnancy, Rihanna said it was “an exciting journey so far.”
“I’m just taking it as it comes every week. There’s always something new and I’m just taking it and I’m enjoying it.”
