From Mongolia's viral uniforms to Jamaica's retro vibes, these are the countries winning gold in the style stakes.

After months – or in actual fact, years – of preparation and anticipation, the Paris 2024 edition of the Olympic Games is at last officially underway, and as expected, it’s proving to be one of the most fashionable sporting spectacles of all time.
The opening ceremony kicked proceedings off in serious style, held along the banks of the Seine and featuring live music from the likes of Lady Gaga and Celine Dion, cameos from some of the biggest stars in the world, dance performances, an epic torch relay, athletes arriving by boat, and a whole lot of fabulous fashion to boot.
But it’s not just the City of Lights that has been showing off its stylish side for the occasion… Each national team taking part in this year’s Olympics has been kitted out in special uniforms that not only serve to bolster their sporting prowess, but display the unique design talent of their home countries too.
These are the most stylish 2024 Olympics team outfits that we’ve spotted so far:
Team Haiti
Whatever the results of the upcoming sporting competitions, Team Haiti has already won gold in our eyes for its glorious Olympics uniform. Created by Haitian-Italian designer Stella Jean, the outfits feature art by local painter Philippe Dodard, blazers made from recycled fabrics and shirts crafted using a traditional weaving technique.
Team Mongolia
‘Pret a couture’ label Michel&Amazonka went viral when its outfits for Team Mongolia were unveiled at the Olympics opening ceremony – and with good reason. Each look took around 20 hours to complete and features intricate embroidery and symbols of cultural significance.
Team Jamaica
Jamaica’s national colours of green, yellow and black are front and centre of Puma’s bold uniforms for the 2024 Olympics team. We’re loving the retro vibes.
Team Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka’s Olympics looks were among the most elegant and intricate, designed by LOVI to be a modern take on the Nilame (Prince) and Manike (Princess) outfits worn in the royal court.
Team Taiwan
Justin Chou of buzzy fashion brand Just In XX brought together artists from all over the country to work on these stylish uniforms for Team Taiwan (aka, Chinese Taipei).
Team Netherlands
The Dutch team has been kitted out by Amsterdam-based brand The New Originals in cutting-edge two-pieces featuring playful dot details and flashes of bright orange.
Team Ireland
To celebrate the 100th anniversary of Team Ireland competing at the Olympic Games, luxury Dublin-born designer Laura Weber crafted a series of cutting-edge, crisp white outfits for the squad.
Team USA
You can’t get much more classic USA than preppy blazers, striped shirts and jeans – designed by Ralph Lauren, naturally.
Team Sierra Leone
Founder of award-winning brand Labrum London, Sierra Leonean Foday Dumbuya collaborated with Adidas to create this year’s blue-and-white kit emblazoned with a reimagined cowrie shell.
