It’s been a busy summer for celebrities. Instead of turning on their OOO heading to the beach of a remote private island, stars have been hoping from one international sporting event to the next and showing up in major style.

There of course those who have also been on press tours promoting their upcoming projects but between Wimbledon and the Paris Olympics, it’s been all about showing up for sports this summer.

Plus, cowboy boots are always a yes and complete this flirty summer look perfectly.

The queen of Brat Summer herself, Charlie XCX is sporting all black (of course) and shades (of course) but the crochet cutouts and mini skirt keep the outfit light and breezy. The look works casually but could also translate to the club at any moment. We expect nothing less.

This is the season of Ayo Edebiri. The Bear actress and one half of the internet’s current favourite toxic ship has been showing up on talk shows and red carpets in a variety of silhouettes that all share one commonality: they play with proportions. Each fit—like this Loewe look snapped outside Good Morning America—is emblematic of Edebiri’s burgeoning style. It’s polished and put together but with a hint of edge thanks to the structure of the blazer and the exaggerated slouchy pants.

This summer, the actress has been living in loud prints and florals as a nod to her florist character in her new movie It Ends With Us, which has led us to looks like this beaded Dauphinette minidress with an adorable mushroom purse from Judith Lieber designed by Katy Perry.

Her majesty Ms Dion stepped out onto the streets of Paris in the days following her Olympic opening ceremony performance in an ultra cool and sporty Christian Dior tracksuit with white kicks. Fans have loved watching Dion enjoy her time in France and she stood in the back of her car and blew kisses to the cheering crowd.

British actress Jodie Turner Smith gave us all a lesson in colour and pattern mixing with the head-to-toe Ralph Lauren fit she wore to Wimbledon earlier this summer. She tied all the colours and prints together with a common element: silky fabric. This bold take on dopamine dressing looked luxurious yet comfortable for taking in the sporting event but the stilettos reminded us, Smith plays to win.
