Amal and George Clooney have made a glamorous arrival in Venice, where they tied the knot in 2014. The couple is visiting the Italian city ahead of the premiere of George’s filmSuburbicon at the Venice Film Festival this weekend.

The new parents, who welcomed twins in June, were spotted disembarking a river taxi this evening, heading to dinner at Hotel Danielle. Amal’s dress for the occasion did not disappoint.

The human rights attorney wore an Ermanno Scervino dress covered in cascading polka dot tulle. With a closer look, the gathered fabric appears to be layered over strapless black bodice with lace panels for a subtle lingerie effect.

Clooney accessorized with a gold bangle bracelet, diamond earrings and two-tone slingback pumps with a black front and blue heel. She tied everything together with a bold red lip. Meanwhile, George followed closely behind in a sleek black suit.

This is the latest of Amal’s impressive date night outfits, following a green sequined Stella McCartney number, comfy-chic Rosie Assoulin maxi pants, and even a cute athletic look for a tennis date.
