From the moment the “Levii’s Jeans” track dropped on Cowboy Carter, it was only a matter of time before we saw Queen Bey and the denim giant team up in some way. Now, the time is here.

Beyoncé teased the first chapter of the “Reiimagined” campaign on social media yesterday, posting a 30 second video to YouTube entitled “Launderette” that channels the Americana vibes of Cowboy Carter. The short film is one in a series created by filmmaker Melina Matsoukas and inspired by classic Levi’s advertisements. The first is modelled after the 1985 ad of the same name that “famously reignited ‘I Heard It Through the Grapevine’ on the Billboard charts,” according to the brand. In this iteration, Beyoncé strips down to wash her Levi’s in with her diamonds, like a legend, while her song that sparked the partnership plays in the background.

“My song ‘Levii’s Jeans’ celebrates what I believe is the ultimate Americana uniform—something we all wear with pride,” Beyoncé said in a recent press release. “I am honoured to work with Levi’s to create quintessential American iconography. Denim on denim has often been seen through a male lens, so this reimagining campaign, which celebrates the iconic female perspective, is important to me. I look forward to exploring innovative ways for our visions to align in empowering women and honouring their strength.”

Beyoncé has been rocking the cowboy-glam look for this era and we’ve been loving it. For the video, she’s styled in a white tee and 501 90s jeans with a chunky belt and cowboy hat over her platinum hair.

The campaign just cements what we already knew: the western trend isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
