By the last day of any fashion week, you are ALL about comfort (unless you’re
Anna Dello Russo, of course, where every breathing moment is lived like a fashion show itself). So it was no wonder why I based my last run of outfits on simplicity and detail. Here is a little shot of what I mean: an easy T-shirt paired with my leather pants, my favourite Hermes accessories, including my crocodile Collier De Chien, and my Medor watch, which
SSENSE started carrying (vintage Hermes! Awesome, I know, right!) and
my new favorite Balmain belt again from SSENSE!

Amongst all the womenswear, I was super excited to check out some men’s clothing. I got to see the wicked cool men’s collection Public School NYC. Their Spring/Summer 2013 collection was filled with out-of-this world detailing on traditionally tailored menswear with modern aesthetics and styling.
A highlight of the day definitely had to be getting to capture an amazing street style shot of one of my personal style icons and favourite fashionista’s, Emmanuelle Alt! I love her Parisienne chic, easy and effortless style! It’s so simple yet so on point and so perfect for the moment! You can see more of her street style here.
NYFW is constant madness – no joke – so it’s by no surprise that one of my favourite parts of the trip (by the end of it at least) has to be the calm moment at the airport! Whenever I am going to or from New York I always take Porter Airlines – you could only imagine my excitement when I found out that their Newark Airport waiting space had recently got a little ol’ bit of a facelift and got updated to a magical lounge with free WiFi and – are you ready? – A Starbucks coffee station!!!
