Over the past few years celebrities have been known to use their public prowess to raise awareness for some of the world’s most needy causes so, unsurprisingly, fashion designers — Tinseltown’s closest cousin — have also jumped on the charity bandwagon to use their notoriety for good.

Brit style sensation Luella Bartley has joined forces with Tonic (www.tonicgen.com), a for-profit company that partners with non-profit organizations around the world to help raise money for a variety of causes in four dominate categories: education, social welfare, poverty and the environment. Following Tara Subkoff’s lead from last year, Bartley has designed a collection of limited edition T-shirts that will be available exclusively at Artizia retail locations across Canada. Proceeds from her “Robin Tee” will go to students in Abricots, Haiti for shoes; considered one of the most expensive items needed for children who walk endless miles to classes each day, while the “Pagan Sun Tee” will help fund the conservation of the world’s endangered coral reefs and marine ecosystems. Just like Rachel Bilson and Petra Nemcova, snatch yours soon while supplies last (Each retails for $52 with 30% of each sale going to its corresponding charity.)
