"You Can’t Fake Fashion," an education and prevention effort to combat the global counterfeit trade, has rounded up 90 contributing designers, including J. Mendel. The initiative, which is run by eBay and the CFDA, will sell designer totes on eBay.com starting March 18th. J. Mendel stated of his support for the initiative: "Luxury is inimitable, permanent. It is essential… to preserve the true, lasting value of what we create." Designer totes will auction starting at $110, while a standard tote will run for $50. Check out
