Remember when we told you that
2014 was the year of the designer collaboration? With
Alexander Wang x H&M and Roland Mouret for Banana Republic on our shopping radar for fall, we didn’t think we could get any more excited for next season (neither did our wallets). Alas friends, prepare yourselves: this morning, Target announced a collaboration with Altuzarra for a capsule collection, complete with ready-to-wear apparel, accessories and shoes. “As a designer, I believe firmly in the transformative power of fashion. It has the ability to not only change how you look, but also how you feel,” said Joseph Altuzarra, the Paris-born designer and creative director behind the feminine, ultra sleek label based in New York. “I’ve admired the elegance that Target brings to fast fashion. By working together on this capsule collection, we hope to instill a sense of power, confidence and beauty in women everywhere.” The over 30-piece collection will retail between $17.99-$79.99, and launches September 14 at most Target stores in Canada, with a pared-down assortment available at NET-A-PORTER.COM.
