Anne Hathaway drops Rachel Zoe as her stylist

Call it a belated response to that whole Prada-nipple dart fiasco from last year’s Oscars: Apparently Anne Hathaway has parted ways with Rachel Zoe after almost a decade. Sources say Hathaway has turned to veteran Hollywood stylist Penny Lovell–who works with starlets like Rose Byrne and Emma Watson–to cultivate her look. It’s been a rough couple years for Zoe, who has lost her Bravo TV show and still faces sluggish sales of her namesake fashion line.
It’s also been a rough year for Hathaway, who famously encountered public scorn for her overly earnest awards show speeches. We can’t help but wonder, is this new stylist part of Hathaway’s plan to reinvent her public image post-"Hathahate?" And, will it work?
