The
Great Gatsby was praised for its stunning cinematography and carefully crafted costumes during its premiere at the Cannes film festival Wednesday night. But before the show started, Hollywood’s leading ladies took to the red carpet to make their own fashion statements. Carey Mulligan–who stars alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in the film–stepped in front of the cameras at the festival wearing a gorgeous figure-hugging pink gown by Dior. She added to her old Hollywood glam look by slicking back her blonde hair and adding a dark red lip, paying homage to the
extravagant costumes designed by Catherine Martin for the film. Nicole Kidman, Cara Delevingne and Julianne Moore also made the
trip to see F. Scott Fitzgerald’s masterpiece come to life on the big screen wearing a variety of
spring trends, including florals, lace and pastels. Be sure to buy your tickets to catch a glimpse of the fashion within the film this weekend!
