Text by Masha Gladchenko & Caley Skinner It was a Brad, Brad World in Toronto yesterday. We caught up with one of our favourite TV and celeb stylists — Ontario-born, bow-tie lover Brad Goreski who was in Toronto for the rebranding of Mark’s. Goreski showed us why he loves the new “Mark’s” (which will no longer be supplying strictly industrial garb for men, but now also chic ensembles for women), and chatted about what’s on his fall fashion trends list.
What Goreski was wearing: Givenchy blazer, denim on denim, stingray Louboutins (woah!), Dolce & Gabbana frames.
Goreski’s top fall trends radar: “Denim on denim – and I’m wearing it now! I like the tweedy English countryside-themed pieces, as well as plaid and anything in
oxblood. Oversized cocoon coats are great although not everyone may pull them off but they looked great on the runways.”
Goreski’s favourite designers right now: “I like Narciso Rodriguez. My client Jessica Alba has been working a lot with him lately.
Balmain is also great for women this season. For menswear I am liking DSquared2, and Louis Vuitton – I’ve been wearing lots of Louis Vuitton lately. The modern take on minimalism is really beautiful like the clean-cut pieces from Calvin Klein and Céline.”
Keep reading to find out what Goreski’s next venture is and what he loves most about fashion.
