Mattel—aka the toy brand behind Barbie—has teamed up with five women-led Canadian companies to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the beloved doll.

Hilary MacMillan, ai, Paris Jewellers Canada, Cheekbone Beauty and Sol Kyst have all come together to create eight shoppable looks that launch today and honour Barbie and her ever-changing stylish aesthetic over the decades.

The ’fits are Barbie from head to toe, and are meant to represent what can be accomplished when brands work together in an otherwise competitive industry. “When women support women, we all succeed. I’m so proud to be part of a strong group of women founders who continuously inspire me, and coming together to bring our strengths to the creative table to create these looks in partnership with Barbie has been such a rewarding experience,” Hilary MacMillan, founder and designer of the eponymous fashion brand, said in a press release.

Each brand that worked on the collab are champions of inclusivity and diversity, speaking to the future of the Barbie brand as well as paying homage to the past. The featured looks include 1959 Barbie, 1960s Twist ‘N Turn Barbie, 1970s Superstar Barbie, 1980s Black Barbie, 1980s Totally Crystal Barbie, and 1990s Totally Hair Barbie with bags, hair accessories, jewellery, sunglasses and makeup also available.

“Cheekbone Beauty has always pushed for meaningful change in representation in the beauty industry, and our collaboration with Barbie showcases that strong message with a global brand—beauty belongs to all, and every face has a story worth celebrating,” Cheekbone beauty founder Jenn Harper added.

Sizing starts at XS and goes up to 4X with adjustable straps on select items, adjustable frame sizing for sunglasses and expanded ring sizes to maximize inclusivity. All products will be available to shop on August 15 at 11 A.M. E.S.T.
