If you’re in the market for a new spot to store your kale that also doubles as a work of art, look no further. Dolce & Gabbana has designed what may very well be the most OTT fridge ever. In collaboration with Smeg (you know the brand for its retro appliances), Dolce & Gabbana will be releasing 100 one-of-a-kind fridges that have been given the label’s signature artistic flourish. Each Fab 28 refrigerator features hand-painted traditional Sicilian imagery (lemons, cart wheels, medieval knights). The collection will be released at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan next week and will be available for purchase at dolcegabbana.com or via Smeg directly. The price tag? Approximately $42,000.
