Cinco-de-mayo-cocktailDid the stars align this year or what? Cinco de Mayo just
happened to fall on a Monday (THANK YOU), giving us every reason to have a margarita
or two after work. Great start to the week if you ask me.
Here’s how to make it: 1 1/2 oz Don Julio Blanco Tequila 1 oz Freshly squeezed lime juice 3/4 oz agave nector 12 basil leaves 1/4 inch piece of fresno chili pepper. Hand clap your basil (yes, that’s right) and slightly press the fresno chili pepper to release their flavours. Add in all your ingredients into a shaker with ice and SHAKE. Strain into a rocks glass that has been rimmed with salt. Garnish with the top of your chilli pepper. You’ll thank us later (or not).
