The film follows the iconic performer as she arrives in London for a series of sold-out concerts in 1968 was – almost 30 years after The Wizard of Oz made her a star and one year before her tragic death. And yes, that really is Zellweger’s own singing voice.

Subtlety is overrated. Sometimes we want big, audacious, look-at-me fashion. That’s why we’re excited to sweep into Versace’s new Canadian flagship in Toronto for its signature brand of gilded glamour. The glitzy 3,000-square-foot space spans two levels, is adorned with lavish details of marble, metal and velvet and has a three-dimensional rendering of the Italian fashion house’s iconic Medusa logo on the ceiling. There was life before Rihanna launched Fenty Beauty – her groundbreaking and pandemonium-inspiring makeup line – and there was life after. We don’t deserve you, Riri. ($45 at Sephora, sephora.ca)
