If you’ve been any where near the internet in the last week, you’ll probably have stumbled across something to do with ‘Damn, Daniel!’, a viral video that is basically some Snapchats super cut together of a high schooler (in white Vans) being shouted out for his swish style by an off camera voice with a majorly dodgy fake accent. 

For the real story behind this phenom, we turn to none other than that great investigative journalist, Ellen DeGeneres, who of course had the creators of the meme on her show within 30 seconds of it lighting up the internet.
