Royal News Round Up: Pippa Speaks Out, Welcome ‘Leo’ and George’s New Shirt
It’s been a busy day in the realms of the blue-bloods. Here’s your speed round catch-up…
Pippa Middleton has
finally broken her silence…on exactly what it felt like to wear that infamously derriere enhancing bridesmaid dress at her big sister’s wedding to some guy. In a speech to a group of advertising execs (?) the younger Middleton spoke publicly for the first time about the experience, saying: "it fitted a little too well". She also opened up about the backlash to her publishing career…and turns out, Royals-in-law have feelings too!
The Swedish Royal Baby finally has a name…and frankly, it’s a little more R-n-B influenced than we were expecting. The New York born daughter of Princess Madeleine of Sweden has officially been saddled with this moniker:
Leonore Lilian Mariah. (But Leo could be a pretty cute nick-name, no?) And in the most adorable news item of the day, the Queen is said to have given her newest (male) grandbaby
a t-shirt with corgis printed on it. It was created by the artist who painted a portrait of Her Majesty’s beloved pups – and apparently Liz ‘passed it on’ to George.
