Recent events (snow, biting winds, icy sidewalks unconducive to nice-shoe-wearing) have left the ELLE Canada team determined to never leave the warm cocoon of our HQ for lunch ever again (or at least until March). So this month’s instalment of #productionpastries, brought right to our door by a rather handsome delivery man, could not have been better timed…
While prepping our January issue (it’s a really good one, FYI) we got a little sugar boost hand-delivered by
Foodee, a  service that specializes in bringing meals from some of the city’s hotspot restaurants straight to your board room table. While we nibbled on
macarons from Butter Avenue, a Toronto patisserie that specializes in these delectable French treats, you can actually order whole meals from a curated list of eateries. They’re only in Vancouver and Toronto, but given that it’s the Polar Vortex world and we just live in it, we have a feeling that gourmet meals that don’t involve going outside are going to catch on with the office set…
