Tulisa Contostavlos is planning to launch a solo career.

The N-Dubz star and ‘X Factor’ judge has reportedly been in talks with her All Around The World label about releasing her own music, following on from the success of her bandmate and cousin Dappy Contostavlos, who went to number one in the UK with his single ‘No Regrets’.

A source told The Sun: “Things are really getting going on her solo career. Tulisa wants the same kind of songs being offered to artists such as Rihanna. If she can find the right song she could rush release it before Christmas.”

Ambitious Tulisa is said to be hoping to break America and has even drafted in the third member of N-Dubz, Fazer – real name Richard Rawson – who is also her boyfriend, to help her.

Dappy recently revealed he is expecting N-Dubz to split up by 2013 and pursue individual projects on a permanent basis.

He said: “The band is definitely going to quiet down for the next year-and-a-half to two years. We may release some stuff every six months but it will definitely be quieter. Then, at the end of that period, we will do a ‘Greatest Hits’ or ‘Best of N-Dubz’. Then that’ll be it: finished.”
