Tinie Tempah has announced his new album will be called ‘Demonstration’ and will be completed by next month.
The ‘Written In The Stars’ rapper has been working on the record – the follow-up to his hit debut ‘Disc-Overy’ – for the past few months and it is now almost ready to drop.
The star – who was a guest at the BRIT Awards this week and presented the Best British Single gong to One Direction – told radio station Capital FM: ”It’s called ‘Demonstration’ – as simple as that. I’m about a month away from finishing it so hopefully a couple of weeks after that all the singles should start trickling out but I’m so excited about it. It feels so much better then when I did the first one.”
Tinie had been working on the LP in New York but he came back to complete it in the UK because he was missing his friends and family.
He told Radio 1 Newsbeat: ”I had to come back home and reflect. I was in America a lot and things were great but overwhelming.
”I missed my family and my friends. I was meant to write the album in New York but I literally wasn’t in the right physical and mental state to do so.
”So I came back and it’s all been worth it. It sounds incredible so far.”
Tinie also revealed the hotly-anticipated record contains some ”cool collaborations” and is edgier than his first effort.
He said: ”It’s definitely based around what I’ve done before, if it ‘aint broke don’t fix it like they say, but it’s definitely a lot more forward thinking and is a lot more edgy, there are cooler collaborations.”
