Cher has revealed Lady Gaga has given her a song called 'The Greatest Things' to use on her next album.
Lady Gaga has been writing for Cher.
The ‘Born This Way’ hitmaker has given a reworked version of ‘The Greatest Things’ – which was originally penned for the eccentric star herself – as a “gift” to the singer-and-actress for her next album.
Cher tweeted: “Just walked in from studio ! I Finished 1st track on new cd &……..”GAGA ” ” YOU ARE THE GREATEST THING TO ME (sic)”
While Cher is grateful to have been given the song, she admitted she would love the chance to duet with the ‘Poker Face’ hitmaker.
She added: “It’s not a duet ! Who knows ? I Did Hold her “Meat Purse” haha! One can wish! It’s one of her songs & she & Redone gave it to me 4 my cd!
“I would love duet with GaGa, but She Gave Me GREAT Song & I’m beyond Grateful!!!! It’s called “The Greatest Thing ” (sic)”
Gaga – who is currently touring in Australia – has previously written for artists including Pussycat Dolls and Jennifer Lopez.
