With just one tweet, our dreams came true.
That’s because Jennifer Lopez and Shakira confirmed they’ll be headlining the Super Bowl halftime show together. JLo posted first, simply tweeting a photo captioned “This is happening. 02.02.2020” – the date of this season’s big game. Soon after, Shakira made a post of her own.

And because it was still kind of ambiguous (you’ll notice neither star actually named the Super Bowl), the NFL followed up with a post of their own to confirm the news.

Super Bowl LIV will be held on February 2, 2020 in Miami.
Movie fans will note that the 2020 Academy Awards – at which we’ll hopefully be seeing JLo at – take place the following week.
