Listen, these are trying times. We are all in need of some light entertainment to cope with the rapid global spread of COVID-19. Luckily, Harry Styles’ NPR Tiny Desk concert was released today.
Styles graced the NPR office along with his band for a four-song acoustic set featuring tracks from his 2019 album, Fine Line. He kicked things off with “Cherry,” then played “Watermelon Sugar” and “To Be So Lonely” before ending with the hit single “Adore You.”
“I have to come into NPR more often,” he joked. “It’s nice here.”
Artists who have previously done Tiny Desk sets include Taylor Swift, Adele, Tyler, The Creator and possibly the number one Harry Styles fan, Lizzo. Gentle suggestion to Styles and Lizzo: make your next joint performance a Tiny Desk concert – that would really boost our spirits.
