Emin’s songs make good seduction music, because they show a guy’s “sensitive side”.

The Azerbaijani singer has recently started promoting his album ‘Wonder’ in the UK and said his smooth voice and honest songwriting will impress the opposite sex.

He told BANG Showbiz: “I always consider one of the sexiest singers on the planet to be Sade, and I think I should be the male version of her.

“I’ll tell you this much, the least it can do is show a guy’s sensitive side to a girl, which always works.

“If you look into my music it’s not just a bunch of lyrics, I actually put my heart into every song I write and every track means something to me, they all have a story.”

The 31-year-old singer explained how the recording process for ‘Wonder’ saw him work with songwriters including Brian Rawling and Paul Barry, both of whom he feels had a hugely positive effect on his material.

Emin added: “When I’m writing I need a room, a piano or guitar and some beats. I write a lot of songs on my own – not many of them make my albums now, but they used to.

“I’ve raised the bar now, but when you co-write you bounce off each other, you bounce ideas off each other.

“I think most of the greatest songs are mostly co-writes, because your ear can pick up immediately something different to the other person’s ear.”

Emin’s album ‘Wonder’ is out now.
