Dionne Bromfield would love to collaborate with Rihanna.

The ‘Foolin” singer is on a record label run by her godmother Amy Winehouse, but while she takes guidance from her, she’d most love to sing on a track with the ‘Love the Way You Lie’ hitmaker.

She told BANG Showbiz: “I’d like to collaborate with Rihanna because she’s a massive icon. Eminem’s amazing as well. But Rihanna’s the one for me.”

For the moment however, Dionne – who is poised to release her second album ‘Good for the Soul’ on July 4 – will have to make do with sharing a stage with her icon as they are both on the bill for this year’s V Festival.

She added: “I found out I was playing by looking on the website! I went last year and it was wicked so to be able to play this year, I’m really looking forward to it. I’m most looking forward to seeing Rihanna, that’ll be brilliant.”

Dionne has rubbed shoulders with some huge stars, however, and revealed Justin Bieber was “cheesy” when she met him.

She added: “He gave me advice, he was like, ‘You never say never’. It was a good phrase in the sense of ‘Don’t give up, never say never’, literally.

“But it was kind of cheesy that he quoted his own song though!”

‘Foolin” is out now, with ‘Good for the Soul’ following on July 4, with the first 1,000 copies bought from website play.com signed by Dionne.
