David Guetta has been producing new music in his dressing room before performing at the MTV EMAs in Belfast tonight (06.06.11).

The French DJ will team up with Taio Cruz for a performance at the awards at Belfast’s Odyssey arena and Taio revealed David prefers to work on new songs rather than spending time perfecting their act.

Taio told BANG Showbiz: “We pretty much have it figured out already in our heads so we don’t need to do anything. I tend to chill out but David is so prolific he probably will make a brand new song in the dressing room while he’s waiting to go on.”

David added: “I do actually produce in my dressing room. We don’t need to warm up.”

Meanwhile, 30 Seconds to Mars’ Jared Leto revealed he was thrilled to be nominated for thee awards, Best Alternative Act, Best World Stage and Best Fans.

He said: “Being nominated is always nice because it gives us a chance to bond with our fans around the world. We’re just finishing our two year tour, we’re about to get the Guinness World Record for the longest tour for an album cycle which tells us really that we’ve been touring too long.”

Coldplay opened the show with a performance of ‘Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall’ followed by LMFAO with ‘Party Rocker Anthem’.
