Calvin Harris played four shows in 24 hours at the weekend.

The ‘Acceptable in the 80s’ hitmaker admitted he had learned to sleep whenever he could to get through the gruelling shows, which took place across North America and the Caribbean.

He told The Sun newspaper: “I have just learned to fall asleep and grab some rest whenever I can.

“I can just fall asleep at the drop of a hat now. I’m pretty sure I could fall asleep standing up if I had to.”

Calvin began his brief tour at Cave in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic last Friday (09.09.11) and was then flown to a festival in Baltimore, US, before appearing a few hours later at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada.

From Canada, he flew by private jet to round off the quartet of shows at the Encore hotel in Las Vegas for an afternoon show on Sunday (11.09.11).

Calvin’s busy schedule will come as no surprise to his friends, as Dizzee Rascal – who teamed up with Calvin on ‘Dance Wiv Me’ and ‘Holiday’ – recently admitted he is desperate to collaborate with the DJ again, but he is too busy at the moment.

He said: “I loved working with him but I can’t get hold of him lately. If I could I’d be happy to collaborate with him again. I can’t find him, he’s all over the place right now.”
