Atomic Kitten have reformed.
The ‘Whole Again’ girl group – Natasha Hamilton, Jenny Frost and Liz McClarnon – are getting back together full-time to perform a series of shows this summer, after initially splitting in 2004.
Natasha, 29, said: ”We’re really excited about singing again.
”We’ve all been doing our own thing but we thought the time was right to reform.
”I think it will be fun to go on tour to perform for a whole new generation of fans.
”A lot of our fans will have kids now so it would be great if they can both come along to watch us and enjoy our music.”
The group – who had 12 top ten hit singles in the UK between 1999 and 2004 – would also like to appear for the Queen at her Diamond Jubilee celebrations, which take place in June.
Natasha added to the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: ”We’d love to be able to perform for the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations.
”We’re open to all options at the moment.”
The group have already performed for the Queen once, appearing at the Party at the Palace concert for her Golden Jubilee in 2002.
Natasha also hinted Kerry Katona – an original member of the group, who left in 2001 to start a family and was replaced by Jenny – could join them on stage.
She said: ”I ran into Kerry recently and we just hugged and got on really well.
”We both have kids around the same age so we talked a lot about them. It was lovely to see her.
”It would be great if we could all get on stage and sing together.”
