It’s no secret that we’re basically counting down the days until we can watch one of our most anticipated movies of 2019—the eagerly-anticipated Downton Abbey flick—in theatres. And while the beloved series’ jump to the big screen is still much too far away, we now have our first teaser trailer to watch over and over again in between holiday gatherings. 

The teaser is scarce on spoilers—and plot details, really, focusing on interior and exterior shots of the titular estate. As previously reported, most of the original cast is returning for the movie, including Michelle Dockery (Lady Mary), Laura Carmichael (Lady Edith), Joanne Froggatt (Anna Bates) and Maggie Smith (Dowager Countess Violet “What is a weekend?” Crawley). Series creator Julian Fellowes penned the script. 

The Downton Abbey movie is slated to be released in North America on September 20, 2019. You can watch the teaser below.
