Terrified of what your life will look like when all this season’s episodes of The Handmaid’s Tale have aired? Luckily for you, fan of expertly wrought tales about women written by Canadian literary giants, there’s another (equally intense) Margaret Atwood adaptation coming to the small screen.

Alias Grace, Atwood’s best-selling novel about an Irish immigrant accused on murdering her employer in 19th century Upper Canada, will be coming to CBC this fall (September 25 at 9pm to be exact). The 6 episodes will star Sarah Gadon, are written and produced by Sarah Polley, and directed by Mary Harron.

All signs—aka the teaser below—are pointing to some epic, gripping, must-watch TV in our future.
