This week, Apple TV dropped the trailer for its forthcoming comedy-drama The Morning Show, starring Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon and Steve Carrell (so you know it’s going to be good.)

Aniston and Witherspoon serve as executive producers, alongside Kerry Ehrin (Bates Motel), director Mimi Leder (On The Basis of Sex) and Michael Ellenberg of Media Res Studio. The story is inspired in part by CNN senior media correspondent Brian Stelter’s 2013 book Top of the Morning. It also marks Carrell and Aniston’s first return to television since their iconic TV shows, The Office and Friends, respectively.

Aniston and Carrell play Alex Levy and Mitch Kessler, long-time cohosts of the titular morning show, until Kessler is fired after allegations were made against him. At the same time, a rivalry begins between Levy and field reporter Bradley Jackson (Witherspoon) who is being groomed to take Levy’s place.

The trailer is a roller-coaster from start to finish. Watch the trailer, below.

The Morning Show comes to Apple TV this fall.
