Harry Styles fans will be pleased to know that the singer’s appearance in Dunkirk back in 2017 wasn’t the last they would see of his acting chops – Mr. Styles has just been announced as Shia LaBeouf’s replacement in the upcoming film Don’t Worry Darling, as reported by Deadline.

Styles will star in the Olivia Wilde-directed flick alongside Florence Pugh and Chris Pine, with production aiming to begin imminently.

Details of the film’s plot are few and far between, but according to Deadline, it’s set in the 1950s California desert in a utopian community, where a housewife uncovers a secret that changes everything.

In addition to directing, Wilde will also have a role in the film. She was most recently announced as helming a secret Marvel movie, after having made her directorial debut with Booksmart in 2019.

Production hasn’t yet started on Don’t Worry Darling, so we’ll leave you with the below footage of Style in Dunkirk to tide you over until its eventual release.
