Never Have I Ever (Season 4)

It’s hard to come to terms with the fact that Never Have I Ever is coming to an end with season four, but we must bid farewell to Devi and co. as they navigate their senior year of high school, college admissions and, of course, crushes. The only consolation? Getting to see whatever Canadian star Maitreyi Ramakrishnan does next.

Bloodhounds

When you’re saddled with debt, the only thing you want is to escape from it. In Korean action-thriller series Bloodhounds, two boxers (Woo Do-hwan and Lee Sang-yi) team up to take on a ruthless loan shark (Park Sung-woong) known for preying on the most financially desperate people. I have a feeling they’ll both be capable of packing a pretty satisfying punch.

Amy Schumer: Emergency Contact

Specific details of Amy Schumer: Emergency Contact are still under wraps ahead of its premiere, but how much do you really need to sign up for approximately one hour of laughs? This marks Schumer’s third standup special for Netflix, and it’s also self-directed by the star.

Our Planet II

If you were blown away by the stunning, award-winning nature documentary Our Planet—which filmed in 50 countries and took over 600 crew people to make—then you’re in luck. The series is back with Our Planet II, which takes an in-depth look at the mysterious ways in which animals around the world migrate over the course of four episodes narrated by (who else?) David Attenborough.

Extraction 2

When Extraction came out in 2020, the action flick became a quick streaming hit thanks in large part to its relentless, bombastic spectacle. Now, much of the creative team and original cast—including Chris Hemsworth—is back for Extraction 2, which follows a highly skilled black-ops mercenary sent to rescue the imprisoned family of a ruthless gangster and promises to up the stakes much, much higher.

King the Land

Imagine getting off on the very wrong foot with someone, only to later show up to work and find out they’re your boss. That’s how the drama kicks off in King the Land, a Korean romcom series that follows a bright hotelier (Im Yoon-ah) whose day-to-day life is seriously thrown amok when the heir of the brand’s luxury conglomerate (Lee Jun-ho) appears on-site in the middle of a contentious inheritance fight.

Break Point (Part 2)

Break Point is a docuseries from the same crew behind F1: Drive to Survive, and strives to bring in a new group of passionate fans to professional tennis like the latter show has done for Formula One racing. This next batch of episodes tracks the highs and lows of the second half of the 2022 season, following some of the sport’s most promising athletes to the year’s major Grand Slam tournaments—including what likely was Serena Williams’ last US Open appearance.

Glamorous

Naming your new TV series Glamorous is definitely one way to grab attention and pique interest—it’s at least working on me. The workplace soap follows Marco Mejia (Miss Benny), a gender-nonconforming twentysomething who lands a job with a supermodel-turned-cosmetics-mogul (Kim Cattrall). What are the odds that all goes smoothly?

The Perfect Find

Putting Gabrielle Union in a romcom is one of the fastest ways to get me to watch something. Enter The Perfect Find, in which Union stars as a woman attempting to revive her fashion career who inadvertently falls for her younger coworker—who also happens to be her boss’ son. Oops. Keith Powers, Aisha Hinds, D.B. Woodside, La La Anthony and Gina Torres also star.

Run Rabbit Run

We may have had to say goodbye to Succession’s Shiv Roy, but that doesn’t mean star Sarah Snook has to disappear from our screens. Next up for the Australian star is Run Rabbit Run, a horror film about a single mother who gets more and more freaked out as her daughter claims to have memories of another life that are related to their family’s painful past.
