Kids these days…less drinking, more texting

Back in my day, the bad kids clustered around the dumpsters smoking and talking about S-E-X. These days, it seems like the most dangerous youth are to be found in their cars…texting.
The results of a new US government survey on "worrisome behaviour" by the country’s youth revealed alot about the way our society is becoming ever more digital. The youth of today’s America are smoking less, drinking less, and fighting less than generations before – but instead are sowing their wild oats by playing video games, going on the computer and watching lots of TV. The risky behaviour that’s seen the sharpest jump among teens? Driving while texting – which in the age of Siri, shouldn’t even be a thing anymore.
